Leighton Gets Bronze.

SEN Primary Panathlon

5 schools attended the first SEN specific School Games event at Jack Hunt School aimed at promoting inclusion in sport and giving opportunities to all. Longthorpe, Leighton, Eyrescroft and the Beeches primary schools alongside Welland academy all brought teams from key stage 2 who represented their schools fantastically all day. Each school moved around 7 different activity stations, which were managed by sports leader from The City of Peterborough Academy, trying to score points in a range of disciplines. After all 7 activities were completed, the points were tallied up which saw Eyrescroft claim gold, Longthorpe claim silver and Leighton the bronze. Claiming the gold and silver will see Eyrescroft and Longthorpe invited to the county festival where they can compete to be the best school across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
