Admissions
The allocation of school places at Leighton Primary & Preschool School is the responsibility of the Local Authority. This includes the allocation of Reception places each September and In Year applications across all year groups throughout the academic year.

Transition Rounds for starting Reception, Junior and Year 7 in September 2026 are now live.
Reception 2026:
The Reception 2026 round is now open for applications and will close on 15.01.2026. Children whose date of birth is between 01.09.2021 and 31.08.2022 are eligible to apply for a Reception 2026 place.

The Junior 2026 round is now open for applications and will close on 15.01.2026. Children whose date of birth is between 01.09.2018 and 31.08.2019 are eligible to apply for a Junior 2026 place.
