The time when children play and choose their own learning is called 'Busy Learning'. Children may choose to follow their own interests and fascinations, develop projects frm their ideas or investigate and explore the indoor and outdoor environments. Children are encouraged to be independent in selecting and using the materials, tools and equipment that they wish to use, and asking others for help should they need it.
Children are encouraged to communicate and interact positively and respectfully with their peers, sharing and taking turns, and speaking politely to each other. They are guided to make friends with new children and continue to develop the friendships they had at previous settings.
Here are some recent photos of Busy Learning.
