In October the Librarian came to visit the reception children with her special children's library bus from the Vivacity Library Service. Becky the Librarian came into the classrooms to meet us and tell us all about her job. She chose one of her favourite stories to read to us. 

After this we visited the bus in small groups to collect our new library cards and look through the selection of story and information books. There were lots of books to choose from. Each child took out a library book to take home using their library card.

Each Friday afternoon, the bigger library bus is parked outside our school so books can be returned here and new ones chosen, or you can visit any of the Vivacity libraries in Peterborough. 

Each week, the reception children also visit the school library to choose stories and information books to read by themselves or share with friends.
