The in Reception joined staff from the HSBC bank on Monday for a special workshop. We looked at all the coins we use to buy things with. We found the picture of the queen on them and some numbers. 

We took part in two activities. The first one was matching coins and doing a rubbing of them with crayons. Then we had a go at designing our own coin. We shared lots of ideas of what our coin would look like. Some children even drew their own Christmas coin.
