    Throughout the month of December, our children took part in the reverse advent calendar. Every day, a child from each class added their contributions to the collection.     This year, we commemorated Remembrance Day by displaying our class poppies on the field. Each class created their own message or poem and we pinned these to the front for all our friends and family to see. On the morning of the 11th, we had an assembly in the hall where we thought about what we are remembering and why we wear poppies.
