Published Admission Number (PAN) = 420 children


We have up to 60 children in each of our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes  with a maximum of 30 in each class. 

Throughout Key Stage 2 (Years 3,4 and 5) we have up to 60 children in each year group organised into 2 classes with about 30 children in each class.  

In our Year 6 group we have up to 60 children organised into 3 smaller classes of up to 20 children in each class.

Should you receive an offer for your child at Leighton Primary School from the council, please ensure you have all the documents required (as stated in your offer letter, these can also be found by clicking on the 'Primary School Admissions Booklet' within the link below under Section 9)

If you wish to accept your offer of Leighton please make contact with the school to book an appointment with Mrs Green (Admissions Officer) to discuss details. Please ensure all documentation requested is brought to the meeting.

The School Admissions Regulations 2012 require local authorities to publish annually information regarding the co-ordinated admission schemes for normal and in-year admissions to Peterborough primary and secondary schools and children living in the Peterborough local authority area.

The closing date for the consultation this year is 13 January 2020.
